Agathe worked in journalism for the local newspaper, and she followed her passion for music in her free time. Raphael worked as a photographer and as a DJ in the after-hours.
When the two met and realized how much they had in common, they fell crazy in love with one another. They learned to have a similar dream to make a living by following their passions. And so, in September 2021, the two decided to combine their strengths; this was the start of Focus Magazine.
A magazine written in French and English about every type of Art to be found in Sint Maarten | Saint Martin; Music, Painting, Dance, Gastronomy, Theatre, Sculpture, Photography, Culture, and so forth.
Another magazine highlight is the monthly event calendar with every music, artistic and cultural event mentioned. The event schedule is also updated daily on their website.

Doing weekly distribution in lots of similar locations with We Are SXM, we see many magazines and other printouts lacking proper distribution.
