The Wastefactory promotes respect for the environment and educates people about reducing, reusing, repurposing, repairing, and recycling waste on Sint Maarten.
There are hundreds of products and items to purchase, all made from recycled or upcycled materials. Enjoy unique souvenirs and support St. Maarten at the same time!
The Wastefactory has partnered with the community to bring in crafters and volunteers with special needs, the elderly, and the youth as crafters and artists. There are volunteer opportunities, as well as classes and creative opportunities.

Artist Tess Verheij is the master-mind behind this initiative; she shares her passion for nature and does all she can to improve our planet.
There are plenty of sessions to make crafts, art, and valuable products with recycled materials. The materials are processed and repurposed right in the factory.

A super nice addition to the Art Gallery and School! The owner is extremely passionate and friendly. Super initiative and there's really some surprisingly nice things in-between, you can't even tell its made from waste!
