Can you really say that you went to the Caribbean without cruising around in its pristine waters? Luckily for you, Blue Pelican Boat Charter is ready to deliver a memorable boating experience. They are an intimate family business made up of Claudie, the manager, Jean-Jacques, who handles logistics, and Vetea who captains HEREMOANA.
Vetea was born in French Polynesia and moved to St. Martin in 2000 with his parents. His whole life revolved around the water so he decided to pursue his Captain’s Diploma in France. Vetea absolutely loves the ocean and all aspects of it, which is why they named their boat, Heremoana. It’s of Polynesian & Hawaiian origin and means ‘the one that loves the ocean.’
The boat is a Scarab 32 Sport built by Wellcraft in the US. It’s powered by 2 Mercury Verado 300 engines, has a shower, and a Bluetooth sound system, and comfortably fits up to 11 passengers. Pets are also welcome on board if people like to bring their four legged friends.
Vetea proudly shares his love for St. Martin, its neighboring islands, and the turquoise waters connecting them all. The islands each bear unique beaches, each telling their own stories – stories that Vetea is intimately familiar with. They hold no secrets from him. Boat Charter rates Blue Pelican Boat Charters:
The boat is equipped with 2 bathing ladders, a freshwater shower, a Bluetooth music sound system, comfortable benches in the front and rear, and safety equipment. On board, you will find children’s (2/4 years) and adult swimming vests, snorkeling equipment (sizes 6 to 12), pool noodles, 1 paddleboard, and 1 inflatable floating mat. A charter also includes a few snacks and an open bar with beer, sodas, fruit juices, water, rosé wine, etc.
Prices are up to 8 persons, but the boat can hold up to 11 people at an additional per person rate.
