The attention for detail is reflected in the entire Nowhere Special concept – from the name to the looks to the food, drinks, and the service, everything was thought about!
The always smiling faces of this local team, show us the Caribbean at its very best. They are truly representing Sint Maarten, The Friendly Island. And with Live Music every day this is the place to be! The bar, the energy, and the music are at the front, while the restaurant overlooks the tranquility of Simpson Bay Lagoon.
Nowhere Special is located right by the Simpson Bay bridge, which is raised to let in the superyachts whose owners love this area. Making this the perfect spot to admire your next boat.
The new management with Jan, Derek and Cristian put all their expertise into improving the food & drink menu and making sure the service is second to none. They invited the former chef from Loterie Farm who created a menu consisting of Caribbean classics mixed with international favorites. Some of our recommendations:

- Nowhere Special chicken curry salad
- The amazingly grilles Steaks
The bar has live music several nights a week. See below the “not so special nights” and go make them special. Happy Hour is daily from 4 to 7 pm with 2 for 1 on a great selection of drinks!

Nowhere Special is open 7 days a week from 4 pm until 2 am and has entertainment every day of the week, making this the place to enjoy good music and a fun time. From Karaoke, Pop, Hip Hop, and Old School to Soca or Caribbean steelpan, this place has a night for all!
- Monday: Industry Night with 2 for 1 Drinks and DJ Silk (Old School Hip Hop) 9:00 – 12 pm
- Tuesday: Latin night with Kanelle & the KRG Band (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata & Reggaeton) 9:00 – 12 pm
- Wednesday: Dance to Classics with DJ Silk (Classic Pop, Hip Hop, Dance) 9:00 – 12 pm
- Thursday: Ladies Night with Roxxy (Pop, R&B, Zouk, Kompas, Soca & Reggae) 9:00 – 12 pm
Complimentary drinks for all the ladies. - Friday: Reggae Night with Remo and the Barbwire band (Reggae) from 9:00 – 12 pm

Visited there three times since being on the island and all three times had Amazing octopus, whether it was the dinner or the salad, it was cooked perfectly… Very difficult finding that in the states… They services a little slow, but the food is actually very worth it….. If you’re looking for octopus

3/16/2024 We had the most excellent dinner and cannot say enough, my husband had the shrimp curry and I had the salmon dinner, WOW, I don't usually don't do reviews, but our dinner was most excellent and server (Junior) took great care of us. I highly recommend for dinner and live music!!!!!
My sons and I ate at NowhereSpecial on 11/27/23. We've been coming to Sint Maarten, Simpson Bay area for 32 years. We've visited the Island 60 times and have eaten in the most expensive and also more
moderately priced restaurants all over Sint Maarten/
Saint/Martin , including inexpensive meals, too. The Curry Chicken & Spinnach and Mango on the side with Basmati Coconut Rice was the best meal I've ever enjoyed in my entire life! The meal was mouth wateringly delicious. I couldn't stop eating.
I will be dining there again when I return Jan. 2024.
I have never written a restaurant review before, but I had to ask Derrick, the Owner/Manager for a menu to take back to the concierge at the resort so she could give suggestions to the people visitng there who always want to know the best places to eat.

Had a lovely lunch here and would definitely recommend it to everyone. The owner and staff are very attentive and helpful. Great place food and service were perfect. Highly recommended!
We had a party evening at Nowhere Special. The servers here are just wonderful and we made great memories. The food/ snacks were cooked perfectly, we enjoyed nice prices and tasty drinks for happy hours. We loved being there and will come back soon!
I had Lobster Jalapeno Poppers and it literally popped up my taste bud. The flavor was so good and rich. They have really nice seafood snacks. If you are are looking for a full meal this isn't the spot, but if you enjoy cocktails and snacking this is definitely your spot!
Nowhere Special Bar & Lounge is my absolute favourite place till now. Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu, and delicious food. I am totally in love with their Journey Cakes and coconut shrimps. They cook their food to absolute perfection. Loved this place and will continue to visit!
