Chef Jai is a local St. Maartener, raised on the island and developed his love of food from spending time in the kitchen with his mother.
He is formally trained in the culinary arts and spent years developing his skills and culinary artistry in New York. He has perfected his craft through many cuisines including, Korean, French, and Italian, to name a few, but he always remains faithful to his Caribbean Indian roots.
By combining flavours from his heritage and his years of culinary experience, Jai’s offers a modern take on Indian food that you will not find anywhere else.

Our Recommendations:
- Appetizers: Lamb Samosa, Goan Tuna Tataki and the Toasted Burrata (Vegetarian)
- Main courses: Saag (Vegetarian), Chicken Korma, Poached Mahi Mahi, and the Lobster gnocchi
- Dessert: Chef’s Kulfi of the day

Jai’s is open for lunch from Wednesday to Friday noon to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner Tuesday to Sunday 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free, this is a great restaurant for you. Jai’s offers a nice selection of unique dishes and sides that you had probably never tried before, such as: Beet Tartare, Buffalo Cauliflower, Roasted Eggplant, Black Lentil Dal, and more. All items are indicated with icons on the menu.

Stopped at Jai’s for dinner and had a great meal. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were the wine and cocktail recommendations!
I had a very good time at Jai’s Resturant. The food was so delicious, all the staff friendly and the ambiance was perfect. We had Chicken Korma, Poached Mahi Mahi, and Chef’s Kulfi of the day. The appetizer was also very good. It was a day I’ll remember for a long time!
What a great new spot in town!! The creative twist to Indian food is an absolute must-try, absolutely amazing!
We love Indian food and the flavors of the far east, but this is next level! It was one of my most unique dining experiences over the last years, the combination of western dishes and eastern herbs and spices is mind-blowing. For example, everyone knows Caribbean Ribs, but try the fall of the bone ribs and you will be blown away as it is completely different in flavor compared to what you expect, yet super tasty!
A must-try for everyone that enjoys an Indian flavor or likes to just experience something new.
