Stacy-Ann Taylor | The “Face” of the Studio (2024)
“After years of experience as a make-up artist, personal shopper & fashion advisor, it was time for a model agency on SXM!”
From October 24th to December 12th 2020, we have the first annual SXM Model challenge which will decide who becomes ‘The Face of Stacy-Ann Taylor Studio’ for the coming 12 months.
Over a 6-week span, 12 different models between 13 and 23 years of age will challenge each other in the field of modeling. Each of the 6 challenges will show the beautiful history and culture of St. Maarten | St. Martin combined with touristic highlights.
To emphasize on this, the challenges will be held at locations like Fort Amsterdam, Fort Louis, the Courthouse, Freedom Fighters roundabout, Emilio Wilson Park, Coralita lookout point, Pinel Island, and more.
The final 6 contestants will be part of the grand finale at Holland House Beach Hotel on December 12th where the winner and ‘The Face’ will be chosen.
THE 12 MODELS
Beyoncé Williams, Mijiala St. Luce, Tianna Mathew, Fritche Ann Soriano, Mahalia Jackson, Maliek Short, Tefari Prevoo Francisco, Zidania Charles Gumbs, Sharees Thomas, Gabriël Sequaris, Emilly de Meza, Leedje Amancia.
THE JUDGES
Vanina Gerard, Alexandra Hubert, Rudolph Davis, Keoma Hamer, and Stacy-Ann, which will be complemented by 2 highly skilled and professional guest judges.
Some of the judges that have confirmed so far are Charisse Piper, Roberto Arrindell, Clara Reyes, Tracy (Teeze) Dawkins, Luciana Raspail, Chico Rollan, Anna Richardson, Marchal James, Ricardo Bethel, and Mia.
STAY-ANN TAYLOR AND THE STUDIO
Stacy-Ann is a self-taught makeup artist, with years of experience as a senior makeup artist and product specialist. Besides makeup, fashion has always been Stacy-Ann’s passion, whether your closet is in need of a makeover, or you need something eye-catching for a special event, Stacy-Ann is there to tackle the task.
With clients both locally and internationally and for many different occasions, she made a great name for herself on SXM and abroad.
At her own Studio, she brings all knowledge together and helps clients with makeup artistry, image consultancy, creative concept development, photography assistant, and models. For this last group, Stacy-Ann specifically started a modeling agency.
MODELING AGENCY
Since the start in June 2020, the Agency now has more than 30 aspiring and enthusiastic models signed up, all eager to further develop their modeling techniques, skills and to enhance their confidence and poise.
The model agency focuses on offering a variety of services where models are required like (corporate) promotional videos and photoshoots, music and entertainment industry as well as cat-walk and fashion shows for both the local as regional market and in the future the international market.

So far the feedback Stacy-Ann Taylor Studio has received from the models, parents and the community as a whole is extremely positive with most credits for the fact that the Agency offers young motivated St. Maarteners a chance to excel, build their confidence and step into the spotlight as the first step to a successful (international) modeling career.
