Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, several countries have established new rules and regulations to enter back into the country. Please make sure to check the entry requirements of your state and country. At this moment no more testing is required.
If you do have to test Antigen test is the easiest and fasters test to do with almost instant results, rt-PCR takes a little longer for the results but most all centers try to give results within 24 hours. See below a list of testing centers and the prices we found, these are subject to change so we (We Are SXM) don’t give any price guarantees.

Testing centers and their prices:
The following laboratories are available for testing and testing directly with the lab is always the cheapest option, they are extremely busy so we advise to arrange far in advance. Furthermore, there are testing centers that do the test and then send the swab to the lab for the results, you will pay a little extra for this option but it brings you the convenience to test on the premises. Some resorts, hotels and marinas also have in-house testing centers.

We found several other testing options in case the laboratories are fully booked you can do a test here and they will send the swab to the lab for results. As most laboratories can’t test more than X amount of people this is a great solution to still test everyone neccesary and have results within 24 hours.

In-house COVID-19 testing facilities:
At the following hotels and marinas they arrange the testing for you with an in-house testing facility or by working together with a laboratory close-by. Just contact the front-desk to arrange this during your stay.
IGY Yacht marina, Simpson Bay Beach Resort (together with Flamingo Resorts, La Vista Resort, Commodore Suites, Atrium), and Sonesta Maho have an in-house testing facility.
Holland House Beach Hotel, Bellair Beach Resort, Oyster Bay Beach Resort, Le Temps des Cerises, Le Petit Hotel and most other hotels can help you arrange testing at the closest facility via their front desk.
Antigen self-testing kit:
Another great option in case you feel a little under the weather is to test yourself. With these home-testing kits you can test yourself at any given point in time to guarantee not to be a risk for your surrounding, it will bring you and the people around comfort to know you’re save.
Furthermore, we have been told that some states within the USA allow you entry when you show your negative Antigen self-testing results. Make sure to check the entry requirements for your state. The following antigen home testing kit is FDA approved.
